October 30-Year Mortgage Fixed Rate

According to Freddie Mac, the national average commitment rate for a 30-year, conventional fixed-rate mortgage was 6.36% in October, up from 6.07% in October 2005. September 2006 30-year conventional fixed-rate mortgage was 6.4%.
