Logan Square, founded in the middle of the 19th century, was primarily a business oriented city with little aesthetic beauty. It is now city’s one of the most demanded areas. Logan Square is at the intersection of Logan Boulevard, Kedzie, Wrightwood Avenue and Milwaukee Avenue. Located 5 miles northwest of the Loop, Logan Square is bounded by Armitage, Diversey and West Bloomingdale.

The community also includes Bucktown, which is located between North Avenue and Fullerton. Bucktown offers affordable housing and it is close to the Loop and lakefront activities.
The Historic Mansion Housewalk held every September where visitors can see century-old beautiful mansions. Quiet residential streets with smaller homes and two-and-three-flat greystones can be found as well as loft conversions and single-family residences. Median home prices for a one bedroom start at about $160,000, two bedrooms $280,000 and three bedrooms $350,000.
